Buyer guide

Preparing for skincare OEM/ODM cooperation

Clarify whether you bring a defined product brief or need help exploring a concept, then align development inputs and factory-document review.

Choose the collaboration path

An OEM discussion typically starts from buyer-defined requirements; an ODM discussion may include product-concept development. Confirm the actual responsibilities and scope with the team.

Supply development inputs

Provide product direction, intended market, texture references, packaging preferences and estimated quantities. Ask which requirements can be evaluated together.

Review published factory evidence

Use /factory-compliance to review the published GMPC, ISO 22716 and production-license evidence. Check scope and validity rather than treating factory documents as product-market approval.

Buyer questions

Do I need a finished formula brief?

Explain what is already defined and what still needs discussion so the proposed collaboration scope is clear.

Can packaging be discussed with development?

Include container and label requirements early; compatibility and feasibility still need review.

Which compliance documents should I request?

Start with the currently published factory evidence and identify any further destination-specific information needed.
